Mothers Union

The diocese is blessed to have a strong Mothers’ Union department which brings together women from around the diocese. The Mothers’ Union Department organizes a diocesan conference for the women at least once every three years. The conference begins at branch level, then parish deanery level, and culminates at the Diocese level in the same year.
During the conference women enjoy worshipping together, and they rejoice in learning together from vibrant speakers invited from other dioceses, who handle the women’s issues both in church and society.
Also the department works hard to run seminars in parishes mobilizing women for Christ.

Currently, the department is headed by secretary Neema Kachira, under the guidance and support of M.U. president Mrs. Betty Ndenza
