TUMAINI FUND

Welcome to The Tumaini Fund in Kibondo.

“Tumaini” is Swahili word means hope, and the Tumaini Fund is  working under umbrella of Anglican Church. The main aim of Tumaini fund is to
support and hope for a better future to orphans, widowers, widows, and poor
families in the  Kagera, Lweru, Biharamulo and Kibondo Dioceses, in the part of Lake zone and Western Tanzania. Tumaini fund in Kibondo Diocese was established in 2019 by  Dr Susan Wilson

who is the chairperson of Tumaini
Fund with the support of Bishop Sospeter Temeo Ndeza the Diocesan bishop of Kibondo. Tumaini fund will be operating within Kibondo Diocese which consists two Districts which are Kibondo and Kakonko; in the following programmes.

  •  Orphan  sponsorship
  •  Well-building
  •  House-building for destitute families
  •  Support education needs for orphans in Primary to University
  •  Vocational training schools for tailoring and carpentry

We are motivated by God’s word in (James.1:27) “…Religion that is pure…to visit orphans and widows in their affliction…” Please join us as we work to alleviate
the poverty and suffering of these orphans who need the most basics of life that we take for granted – safe shelter, food to eat, clean water, bed to sleep on, adult care and education to change their lives
